Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara won the toss and elected to bat in the third and final Test against India on Wednesday.

India, leading 1-0 in the series, have brought in Murali Vijay in place of regular opener Gautam Gambhir, who has opted out of the match to attend his sister's wedding.

Sri Lanka have also made one change to their side, bringing in Nuwan Kulasekara in place of off-colour Ajantha Mendis.
