If you are a Lucky Ali fan, and have wondered where your favourite singer has been hiding all these years, you have a chance to put that question to the man himself. As a special guest on the occasion of a Sunday card sponsored by Arjav Diamonds, Lucky Ali will make his first public appearance in years at the Mahalaxmi racecourse paddock today to give away the trophy to the owner of the winning horse. And you might also get lucky just for being at the races today.
Every entrant who will bet Rs 1,000 on Tote will be given a form to nominate the first four horses in the Arjav Diamonds Salver (7th race at 4.30 pm), and one lucky winner whose prediction turns out to be the closest to the actual result will drive away the latest car from the Maruti stable the 'A Star'.
Shapoor & Cyrus Mistry's Oasis Star, trained by CD Katrak and to be ridden by YS Srinath, is tipped to win the main event.
