Shashank Manohar, the outgoing chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed that he didn't consult any of the heads of cricket boards before tendering his resignation yesterday
Kolkata: Shashank Manohar, the outgoing chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed that he didn't consult any of the heads of cricket boards before tendering his resignation.
"No, I did not discuss my resignation with anybody. Firstly, one cannot take back his resignation in the ICC. Had I discussed my decision with anybody, they would have not allowed me to resign," said the Nagpur-based veteran cricket administrator, who was the BCCI boss for two stints.
Asked why he took the decision to quit, Manohar said, "As I have mentioned in my resignation letter, I quit due to personal reasons. It has nothing to do with BCCI or revenue-sharing amongst cricket boards."
