It is a well-known fact that India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya shared a very close bond with former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, not only on the cricket field but also off the pitch.
Hardik Pandya took to social media website Instagram to post an old throwback photo along with MS Dhoni and his little daughter Ziva in Ranchi also saying that he misses the father-daughter duo. Hardik Pandya went on to receive quite a heartwarming reply from none other than MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi Dhoni.
Hardik Pandya underwent a successful surgery last month for his lower back. The cricketer from Mumbai has been missing on the international scene for a while now and is also missing his teammates. In his throwback photo with MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya captioned it: "Miss this little one (and the big guy too)."

Hardik Pandya last featured in the squad during the three-match T20I series against South Africa at home where he aggravated his back. Following this, Hardik Pandya was rested for the Test series against South Africa as well as the ongoing India-Bangladesh series.
On the other hand, it is still unclear when MS Dhoni will don the colour blue for Team India. Dhoni last appeared during the semi-final match against New Zealand at the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.
