The actor's never say die attitude makes him the undisputed king of Bollywood, say readers, as they wish him a speedy recovery I'm glad to know that Shah Rukh Khan's nagging shoulder has been successfully operated upon. Though he has been advised six months rest before he resumes work, SRK has said that he would not be out of action completely.

Also, he has given his nod for hosting a film awards function. In fact, the awards that were previously slated, for February 28 have been put off till March 7, only for SRK's sake.
This itself speaks about the stature of the actor in Bollywood. Never in the history of these awards have they been rescheduled because of the non-availability of an actor, not even for Amitabh Bachchan. But the organisers have made an exception for SRK, and why not? His dedication towards his work has not escaped notice.
Just before he went in for the surgery, he was seen promoting Billu Barber without fretting whatsoever. The film had run into controversy with the association of hairdressers and salon owners demanding that the word barber be removed from film's title as they thought it was derogatory. King Khan took the criticism in his stride and did not hesitate to change the title of the film.
This is what makes SRK different from other actors. And hence he will continue to remain the undisputed king of Bollywood. SRK fans across the country have been praying for his speedy recovery.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
Baadshah, really
Shah Rukh Khan's successful surgery comes as a huge relief to millions of his fans. He has agreed to host the a major film awards function on March 7. In fact, the awards were postponed only for SRK. This only goes on to prove that he is the simply the best. SRK is an entertainer like no other. What makes him different is that he faces challenges head on. Despite the shoulder surgery and brickbats he received for his notorious dig at the who's who of the film fraternity, he has agreed to host the awards function. This year too he will steal the show with his witty punch lines. Though Shah Rukh will not be seen on the big screen for a while, his fans will only be glad to see him in action at the award ceremony. SRK may be down, but he is clearly not out.
