"This is one of the biggest disappointments of my career," said Ronaldo.
"It is always bad when you lose a final. But we didn't play well. We did okay in the first 10 minutes but you have to say Barcelona deserved to win," said the 24-year-old.

Wayne Rooney was equally distressed. "It is a big disappointment but Barcelona were the better team.
Andres Iniesta is the best player in the world in my opinion," said added Rooney.

Meanwhile, manager Alex Ferguson slammed his team's 'shoddy defending' after their dreams of making history were shattered at the Stadio Olimpico.
Ferguson said: "In our best performances this season we have defended very well, but the defending tonight was shoddy. The first goal didn't help.
