Raj Singh Dungarpur, former chief of the Board for the Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) and former president of the Cricket Club of India (CCI) has been admitted to the Bombay Hospital.

Dungarpur, a source says, "Has been suffering from malaria." Another person who did not wish to be named said, "His diabetes has been fluctuating."
Nobody from Bombay Hospital was available for comment. Rajbhai as he is known, has not been well for a while now. Cricket journalists who have been meeting and speaking to Rajbhai for decades now realise that he finds it difficult to recognize them any longer.
