Prithvi Shaw
Riding on a scintillating century by Mumbai's teen batting star Prithvi Shaw (101 not out), India 'A' managed to narrow the 250-run lead to 91 on Day Two of the first unofficial Test against West Indies 'A' yesterday. Shaw, who was bowled for a golden duck in the first innings, received good support from his partner Mayank Agarwal (56') as the duo stitched an unbeaten 159 runs for the opening wicket when stumps were called.
Earlier, Sunil Ambris struck a fine ton, while Shamarh Brooks made a gritty 91 to steer WI 'A' to 383 and earn a 250-run first innings lead. Ankit Rajpoot was the pick of the bowlers for India, finishing with four wickets at an economy rate of three. His new ball partner Navdeep Saini picked up a couple of wickets at 3.12.
