Yuzvendra Chahal
On Sunday, in the first T20I match against South Africa, Team India's leg-break bowler Yuzvendra Chahal wore glasses while fielding at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. It's a precautionary measure, says his father KK Chahal.
"Before going on the tour to South Africa, Yuzvendra was advised by an eye specialist to wear glasses occasionally. So, though he does not wear them while bowling or batting, he does so while fielding," Chahal Sr told mid-day yesterday.
"His eye sight is not very weak but he was advised to use glasses when he underwent medical tests which were compulsory before taking up his new job as an Income Tax inspector. Yuzvendra will be joining office in Delhi as soon as he returns from South Africa", he added.
