Pradeep Sunderam, 59, is the marathon man of Indian domestic cricket. He is a well-recognised face on Mumbai's maidans.

Sunderam, a former coach at Mumbai Cricket Association's Bandra-Kurla Academy, is now the coach of two-time Ranji champions Rajasthan. And as the Ranji season is just around the corner, the former pace bowler has to deal with rising expectations.

"Expectations are very high. Unfortunately we didn't click last season. But I am not feeling any pressure as this in my first season. I played and coached in Mumbai. That experience is helping me very much," said Sunderam, who also played for Rajasthan.

"My experience with Rajasthan players has been great so far. Most of them are from the districts, so it's easier to counsel them," added Sunderam who had famously taken all ten wickets in an innings in a Ranji trophy match against Vidarbha.
