On Monday, Australia captain Michael Clarke defended the team management's decison to sideline four cricketers, saying it is not just about one incident but also about off-field stuff

A report in the Sydney Morning Heraldu00a0stated: "Details have emerged of a cultural breakdown in Australian cricket with Clarke forced to redress a slew of problems including Test stars being overweight and turning up late to training and team meetings."

The six acts of indiscipline were:

1 Showing up late for team meetings and training sessions

2 Missing medical and physiotherapy appointments

3 Sleeping in and holding up the team bus.

4 Wearing the wrong uniforms

5 Failing to consistently complete CA health and well-being forms

6 Recording fluctuating skin-folds, with some players deemed overweightu00a0
