England Twenty20 captain Stuart Broad declined to speak about the celebrations that followed their Ashes win at the Oval and the team's subsequent apology for their actions

Some England players allegedly urinated on the pitch just hours after lifting the Ashes urn following a 3-0 series win over Australia on Sunday night.

The team released a statement on the England and Wales Cricket Board's official website to apologise for any offence caused, but Broad, speaking ahead of his side's first Twenty20 match against Australia refused to elaborate further. The statement on ecb.co.uk said: "The England cricket team would like to state that during our celebrations after winning the Ashes at no time was there any intention to disrespect Surrey CCC, the Oval or anyone else involved in the game we love."
