The 30-year-old, who made his international debut in the second ODI, returned figures of 5-25 and also contributed 38 runs as an opener in the third ODI in Harare.
'Bilal's action has been reported after the third ODI and we are following the procedure with the ICC,' Intikhab Alam, Pakistan's team manager was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.
Asif will be required to undergo a test on his action at an ICC-accredited facility within 14 days and, during this period, Kaushal is permitted to continue bowling in international cricket until the results of the testing are known.
