Put in to bat, Maharashtra scored 211 for eight in 50 overs. Bhosale hit eight fours and three sixes during his 126-ball stay at the crease. For Mumbai, pacer Sylvester Dsouza claimed four for 56.

In reply, the hosts were bundled out for 206 in 48 overs. Sagar Chhabaria (85), Atharva Ankolekar (56) and Tanush Kotian (31) were the only batsmen who showed some class for the hosts.
