The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not acknowledged receipt of the CVs sent by a few former cricketers, who have applied for the coach's position.
"I am a respected cricketer in my country and is this the way to treat us? I don't know whether my CV has reached the proper channel. The BCCI claims to be a professional body. Is this professionalism," he asked.
"They (BCCI) have no courtesy to acknowledge my CV. I would have been happy if even a one-line note been sent to me, leave aside whether my application would be considered or not," he added.
"The BCCI is trying to fool all of us. They have made a mess of the situation," an applicant remarked.
