West Indies all-rounder Nicholas Pooran surprised his fans all over when he announced his engagement to his long-time girlfriend Kathrina Miguel on November 17, 2020. Pooran took the traditional way of proposing as he went down on his knees when he popped the question before he planted a ring on his ladylove Kathrina's finger.
Nicholas Pooran shared a picture of his engagement on Instagram and wrote, "God has blessed us with a great blessing. I am glad to announce that @kathrina_miguel and I got engaged. Love you Migz.u00efu00b8u008f I got you."

Pooran's girlfriend Kathrina Miguel, too, shared a few photos on Instagram with a lovely caption, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11. Being loved by you is a blessing I thank God everyday for. Love you @nicholaspooran."
Pooran's West Indies teammates also took to the comments section to congratulate him. Kieron Pollard wrote, "The professional ... congrats @nicholaspooran @kathrina_miguel". Jason Holder had a lovely message for Pooran as he wrote, "Man oh man. LOVE is pure! Congrats to you both." Pooran's Kings XI Punjab teammates, Mandeep Singh wrote, "Congrats Nicky paaji! Bruaaaahh," while Arshdeep Singh, wrote, "Congrats Nicky praa." Windies cricketer Rayad Emrit wrote, Congrats to you both. Indian cricketer Shreyas Gopal, Trinidad footballer Kevin Molino, Windies cricketer Tion Webster also congratulated the lovely couple.
Nicholas Pooran was quite the star player for his team Kings XI Punjab at the IPL 2020 in Dubai which ended on November 10. He impressed all with his vital knocks with the bat as well as his talent on the field.
Nicholas Pooran and Rostan Chase have been named as vice-captains for respective T20I and Test series which the West Indies cricket team will be playing against New Zealand, Cricket West Indies announced on Thursday. Kieron Pollard will lead the side in three-match T20I series while Jason Holder will be performing captain's duties in the two-Test matches. "Roston Chase has been appointed vice-captain of the West Indies Test team for this tour of New Zealand. He is an experienced player who is tactically aware and very purposeful in his approach to the game. He is readily willing to offer advice and discuss ideas with his fellow players and the coaches and I think will offer good leadership support to captain Jason Holder both on and off the field," said Roger Harper, CWI's lead selector.
