Though Mumbai skipper Aditya Tare is not part of the inaugural T20 Mumbai League due to a finger injury, the wicketkeeper-batsman made it count by making his debut as a commentator.

"It's good to do something related to cricket and commenting on the game is good work to do. It's my first attempt and I am enjoying it," said Tare. The Mumbai captain was also delighted to see the electric atmosphere at Wankhede Stadium. "The atmosphere here seems just like the IPL - players with coloured clothing, good response from the crowd and a good tournament to enjoy for everyone," he stressed.

Encouraging response
For those who get frustrated to see hardly 100 people turning up to watch a Ranji Trophy match at the Wankhede Stadium, the Churchgate venue provided a good sight yesterday.

The stands were not as empty as for the national championship and with the minimum ticket fare of Rs 50 to watch both T20ML games of the day, around 7000 spectators enjoyed the shortest format of the game yesterday. Needless to say it was worth every rupee.
