Indian cricket board's former vice-president Lalit Modi launched a veiled attack against board secretary N Srinivasan, saying Eden Garden's loss of the World Cup match between India and England was a part of the dirty board politics.

"Sorry to see politics again - take away matches from Kolkata. I had restored them when I chaired the tours and fixtures committee though secretary opposed it. Once again dirty tricks department wants to alienate the fans," Modi said on Twitter.
