Mayank Agarwal reveals he is engaged to girlfriend Aashita Sood, shares photo

Mayank Agarwal, who was ignored by the national selectors for the T20I tri-series in Sri Lanka despite loads of runs this season, seems to have found some joy off the field. Yesterday, after his 79-ball 90 helped Karnataka win the Vijay Hazare trophy, beating Saurashtra by 41 runs in the final, he revealed that he recently proposed his girlfriend, Aashita Sood.

After the match, Agarwal said, "It's been a dream run for me. A crazy season. I thank the (Karnataka) selectors for showing faith in me when I was going through a tough time. I feel a lot more confident. Recently I proposed my girlfriend and she said 'yes'." Agarwal posted the above picture on Twitter recently and captioned it: "Engaged."
