Shaun Marsh is a happy man today not just because he scripted Kings XI Punjab's win by smashing 71 runs but also because he batted successfully against legendary leg-spinner Shane Warneu00a0on Thursday.u00a0
Marsh smashed Warne for three sixes in the 14th over the of the Punjab innings and also raised his half-century in the process.
Marsh was adjudged Man-of-the-Match for his 42-ball knock, which was studded with six fours apart from those three sixes off Warne.
"It's nice feeling. We had a great win. All the boys played well, and good feeling at the moment. First time I have got a few off him (Warne), usually he gets me out pretty early," Marsh said after his side beat Rajasthan by 48 runs. "I do enjoy playing here, great place to play cricket. Having a lot of fun at the moment," he added.

As Punjab scored its third consecutive win and jumped to third place in the points table, skipper Adam Gilchirst is happy that the team has shrugged off the bad start.
"Three in a row after a poor start. Been a bit of a stop-start tournament, seems like the tournament is just beginning. Fine line, but 2 for 5 is a fair distance from being 0 for 40. Paul backed himself, and Shaun was brilliant," Gilchrist said.
"Not too bad [his own form]. It's all helter skelter, don't know much about form in this form of the game"
Losing skipper Shane Warne said had their bowlers not bowled those no-balls when they got wickets, the picture could have been different for them. Siddhartha Trivedi had bowled Gilchrist in the first over and Shaun Tait had Paul Valthaty caught in the second over but both the deliveries were ruled no-balls.
"Not the ideal start. Two no-balls could have been two wickets. After that we lost our way. Adam (Gilchrist) and Paul (Valthaty) played really well. We pulled them back a bit, but we got off to an ordinary start ourselves," Warne said.
u00a0Asked how he felt after Trivedi and Tait bowled no balls, Warne said, "I was trying to stay calm [when the no-balls happened], but it's not easy. Something you can't do in Twenty20 cricket." "We got outplayed, we didn't do a lot of basic stuff well," Warne added.
