His lawyer Mehmood Abdi did all the talking while the most featured face in Indian cricket administration was in Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix. "The documents we have filed today are voluminous but the BCCI president (Shashank Manohar) is an eminent lawyer. He is in the habit of reading thousands of pages in minutes, so we hope for an early decision," Abdi said after submitting the 12,000-page reply.

Meanwhile, Modi didn't stay away from his favourite pastime... tweeting. And he didn't miss out on an opportunity to stress how he was unfairly accused. "When anyone is falsely accusedu00a0- it is there duty to respond and not react. So one responds by making all that is true available. That is what I did. It may be long. But it is there for all to see now," he wrote on Twitter.
"All I have to say for the moment is I have replied in complete details to all charges even though there was no complaints, but as if there was," said another tweet.
Soon there will be the much-awaited media conference, which according to Modi will be held at an "an appropriate time."
Cricket's T20 man is in no mood to play the shortest brand of the game in his battle with the Board. A full Test match is what he wants.
Ranjib Biswal, India's team manager on the ill-fated World T20 tour submitted his report to the Board today.
"The BCCI is looking at the report and they will get back to you. There are certain issues which I have recommended to the BCCI and I hope the Board knows how to react to that and I hope, the Board reacts to that," said Biswal.
