Let's look at the timeline of the Indian Premier League spot fixing scandal that took place on May 16 2013 on its one-year anniversary


May 16, 2013: Delhi Police arrest three Rajasthan Royals players - Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan and 11 bookies for spot fixing. One of the bookies - Amit Singh, is a former Rajasthan Royals player.

May 24: Team Principal of CSK Gurunath Meiyappan is arrested by Mumbai Police on charges of cheating, forgery and fraud.

May 31: BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale and treasurer Ajay Shirke step down from their positions.

June 1: Rajiv Shukla resigns as IPL chairman.

June 2: Srinavasan steps down until end of the probe.

June 6: Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra admits to betting on IPL matches, including of his own team.

September 13: Sreesanth, Chavan handed life bans by BCCI. Amit Singh given five year ban. Trivedi suspended for a year. Harmeet Singh cleared due to lack of evidence.

October 8: Supreme Court allows Srinivasan to take charge as long as he stays away from IPL probe.

November 5 and 6: Three-member IPL probe panel meets Mumbai Police authorities and BCCI's anti-corruption unit

February 10: Justice Mudgal Committee finds Meiyappan to be a face of CSK and indulging in betting activities and passing-on information.

March 25: Supreme Court recommends N Srinivasan step down from his post as BCCI president pending investigations.
