Television reports claimed that the players were involved in a spat with fans in pub downtown in St. Lucia Wednesday.

Yuvraj, Ashish Nehra, Zaheer Khan, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh and Piyush Chawla were present in the pub, Tequila Joe's, where they were taunted by fans following which the fight broke out.

"There was no fight not even an argument! Pl dont make up stories!," Yuvraj twitted.

The Indian team were knocked out of the World Twenty20 after a dismal performance losing all their three matches in the Super Eights stage of the tournament.
