The legal advisor and the family of former Pakistan batsman Ijaz Ahmed have accused police of mentally torturing the ex-cricketer after arresting him for alleged forgery.
Ijaz was rushed to hospital in critical condition on Friday after he spent the night at the Gulberg Liberty police station. The batsman has been accused of issuing two fraud cheques of the value of Rs 10.5 million to two property dealers over a land deal.u00a0
