The Gujarat Lions didn't make it to the knockout stages, but wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik has some reason to rejoice since not only was he the second-highest run-getter for the franchise with 361 runs at a strike rate of 139.38, he has also been included in the Indian squad for the Champions Trophy as a replacement for injured Manish Pandey.
So a relaxed Karthik has been enjoying some quality time with his wife Dipika Pallikal.
The squash champion recently posted a photo on Instagram that revealed Karthik's sleeping habits. She revealed that Coco Chanel, their pet dog, sleeps with the cricketer. How cute!!!
The Indian squash star captioned it: "This is what summer holidays in the Karthik household looks like!!!! Obviously I've been kicked off my own bed ! #cocochanelkarthik."
Karthik has been in great form recently, having scored 704 runs in the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy with an average of 54.15, with one hundred and five fifties. He was also the key to Tamil Nadu's 50-overs title double, scoring a combined 854 runs at 85.40 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Deodhar Trophy.
