Kolkata: With Glenn Maxwell at the helm and Virender Sehwag the mentor, it's not surprising that Kings XI Punjab should show some of the dare and dash of the duo. Wriddhiman Saha was around yesterday to extol to the virtues of a "free mind", something the two dashers would love to see embedded in the DNA of the team.

"When we played in Dubai (in 2014), we played with a free mind, without individual planning or thinking, in the initial three-four matches. We could take forward that momentum and played the final.

"We are trying to do that this year as well. Both Maxwell and Virubhai have told us to play freely and without thinking too much. That approach is working for us," said the wicketkeeper-batsman as his team goes into today's clash against Kolkata Knight Riders with two emphatic victories.

Saha had scored a century in that final but Kings XI were still tamed by KKR.
