"Sports is the field where I truly believe that I can make a difference," said Rasquinha after his first day at work. "The talent is definitely there in India. What we need to do is harness the talent effectively to ensure optimum performance of our elite athletes." Rasquinha joined OGQ after completing his MBA at the premier Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

There were offers from other firms too, including non-sporting corporates, reveals the Olympian. "But it's not everyday that you get the opportunity to work with something that you are truly passionate about.

"The fantastic sporting and business brains behind OGQ have played a major role in my decision to accept the role of COO.

"Working on a day to day basis with legends like Geet (Sethi) and Prakash (Padukone) and the fantastic business team on the Board of OGQ is a dream come true," Rasquinha said.
