But look how Australia vice-captain Michael Hussey reacted when asked about the jam-packed schedule including the seven-match one-day series that starts on Sunday with the first game in Vadodara: "I guess since India came over last year during the Australian summer and have been coming often. We have returned this year. There's always a bit of politics going on behind the scenes that we cricketers cannot do anything about. We just have to go out there and play," Hussey told mediapersons yesterday.

Hussey's comments have not gone down well with the Board of Control for Cricket in India. "If that's the case then he should go and ask Cricket Australia about the politics. As far as I am concerned, there's no politics involved" BCCI Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty said.

"The series is a part of the FTP (Future Tours Programme) and it was scheduled to take place at this time of the year. I don't see anything wrong with it," Shetty added.

Many in the visiting party including skipper Ricky Ponting and coach Tim Nielsen have voiced their displeasure over not just the seven-match series but also the hectic international schedule.
