A stellar bowling performance from skipper and medium pacer Aksh Shah (5-42) which included a hat-trick helped GD Somani Memorial School (Cuffe Parade) win by five wickets against Utpal Sanghvi Global School (Juhu) in the U-16 Harris Shield match at Oval Maidan on Saturday. Batting first, Utpal Sanghvi put up 105 in 24 overs as Siddharth Shah top-scored with 26. Aksh was well supported by medium pacers Parth Pulkundwar (2-17) and Jainam Shah (2-18). The Cuffe Parade side ended up getting 106-5 in just 21 overs.

Rizvi bt Swadhyay Bhavan
An outstanding bowling performance from left-arm spinner Aman Manihar (6-34) helped Rizvi Springfield (Bandra) to an emphatic 10-wicket victory against BAK Swadhyay Bhavan (Matunga). The Matunga team managed to score a mere 91 in 33 overs as Shravan Padelkar scored 18. Left-arm spinner Farhan Shaikh claimed 2 for 13. In reply, Rizvi cruised to victory as their opening pair stitched a 92 run partnership. Aditya Pande scored an unbeaten 53 while Adityan Dev scored 29 not out.
