Harbhajan Singh could easily pass off as India's best all-rounder today. Having arrived in the Caribbean, the off-spinner has said that he is keen to shine with both bat and ball in the forthcoming five-match ODI and three-Test series.

Singh, 30, was at the Queen's Park Oval on Thursday for India's first training session ahead of the one-off Twenty20 international against the West Indies today. "My personal goal is to win the series and just do well with the bat and ball," he told a Trinidad daily.

It can be recalled that Harbhajan claimed figures of 5-13 in the first innings of India's historic win in the Jamaica Test during the tour of 2006.u00a0 "It's always nice to be back in the Caribbean. Playing in the Caribbean is always special. I've always enjoyed playing here. The people are always friendly and nice to talk to. The Caribbean is where we used to look at with all the strong cricketers (in the past)," he said.

With 393 Test scalps, Harbhajan could reach the magical milestone of 400 during the three-Test series that follows later this month. "I am not thinking about that just yet, just want to bowl well and win the series for my country," said the Turbanator.

Singh is confident that the visitors will prevail even without some of their stars "A lot of these (new) guys have done well before. It's a great opportunity for the young guys to perform well and cement their place on the team," he said. "We are a good side and if we play to our potential we can come out very strong," he added.
