Karim Benzema, Sami Khedira and Sergio Ramos were on target for the Madrid outfit. Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris' own goal made it 4-0 for Real.
Ronaldo has scored eight times already this season but none of Madrid's last 14 goals have come from the ufffd80million man.
Mourinho said: "I'm delighted with Cristiano. The big problem is when Cristiano doesn't score and neither do the team.u00a0
"In the last few games he hasn't scored but the team has. Last year he won the Golden Shoe and Pichichi (top scorer in Primera Division). Maybe this year he will win more important things."
