Dad Wasim Akram goes water-rafting with sons Akbar, Tahmoor

Pakistan cricket legend Wasim Akram has been the flagbearer for diabetes awareness for quite some time now. Time and again he's shown that the disease is not a limitation to any physical activity.

Yesterday, he posted the above picture with sons, Akbar, 17 and Tahmoor, 21, as the trio went about some adventure sports. "Whitewater rafting with my boys Tahmoor and Akbar 15-foot drop. Tahmoor is not looking that comfortable. #myboys #funtimes," the former pace ace wrote to his 3.5 million online followers.

Meanwhile, continuing his campaign for diabetes awareness, in a previous tweet, a day earlier, Akram, 51, wrote" "My mission is to change the mindset of diabetes in Pakistan. Diabetes is not the end. It's a second chance at life."
