Manchester City's flagging bid for an English Premier League title was further undermined by their maverick striker Mario Balotelli, who prostitute Jenny Thompson.
Incidentally, Thomson is the same escort, who claimed to have previously had an affair with Manchester United star Wayne Rooney prior to England's shambolic 2010 World Cup campaign.

Balotelli, who was chided by his manager, Roberto Mancini, following an on-field bust-up with teammate Aleksandar Kolarov during last weekend's damaging 3-3 draw against Sunderland, revealed that he had a "brief involvement" with prostitute Jenny Thompson but withheld the details of when the relationship took place and for how long it lasted.

The forward's agent, Mino Raiola, conceded that his client, who is currently dating Italian model Raffaella Fico, was a "young and impulsive football player who has been targeted by a number of women looking to make money from him". He added: "We therefore wish to confirm that Mario has had a brief involvement with Miss Jennifer Thompson. "

Four players of the French national team - Franck Ribery, Karim Benzema, Sidney Govou and Hatem Ben were accused of being involved in sexual activities with a prostitution ring at Paris nightclub that supplied under-age girls.

It was reported that two of the players were questioned as witnesses in the case. Ribery was questioned by the police later and during an inquest he is later is said to have to the investigators that he had indeed had sex with an under-age prostitute Zahia Dehar, but claimed he did not know she was under-age. Ribery, was said to have flown the young French Moroccan Dehar to a hotel in Germany, where he is currently a winger for Bayern Munich. Police also claimed he paid her up to £2,000 for sex.

Later, Dehar said she "loved" all the French players. She said that Ribery, Benzema, and Govou 30, had all treated her "with utter respect" and that they be left alone. Dehar informed investigating officers that she had £2,000-a-night sex with all three players and that she had even celebrated her 18th birthday.

Both Ribery and Dehar have moved on since the incident. The star footballer is currently doing duty for Bayern Munich in the Champions League while Dehar is a well known fashion designer having made her debut with a lingerie line in Paris in January.
