London: An Australian female cricketer has been handed a two-year suspended ban after being found guilty of placing bets, totalling only Aus nine dollars, on the 2015 men's World Cup final.
According to the Guardian, Angela Reakes breached Australia's anti-corruption code after she placed bets on the Player of the Match award in the summit clash, in which Australia defeated New Zealand to claim the coveted title for the fourth time.
