Australia were all out for 280 in their first innings in the hour after lunch on the second day of the final Ashes Test against England at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Tuesday.
Lusty hitting from pacemen Mitchell Johnson (53) and Ben Hilfenhaus (34) helped add on 91 runs for the last two wickets as Australia recovered from 189 for eight to set England a challenging target.
Johnson clubbed a six and five fours in his 66-ball half-century while Hilfenhaus smacked a six and three fours in his 58-ball cameo.
Johnson and Hilfenhaus put on 76 runs off 89 balls for the ninth wicket.
