Openers Shane Watson (96) and Simon Katich (71) gave Australia a fine start to their first innings in the second Test against the West Indies played at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
West Indian batsman Brendan Nash's 92 helped his team to reach a highly competitive 451 on Day Three but Australia ended the day in style.
The hosts won the first Test in Brisbane.
