"I strongly put up affiliation matter of Bihar. Since 2003, the cricketers of Bihar are not able to play first class cricket as Jharkhand have fraudulently taken the full membership in the name of BCA excluding the area of operation from Bihar which is among the nine states who are denied the opportunity," Verma said.
Earlier, former India captain Sourav Ganguly and BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya were also called by the committee along with various representatives of the East Zone yesterday.
A member of the Justice Mukul Mudgal panel probing corruption in IPL and a CAB joint-secretary Ganguly is believed to have called in to share his views on the running of the BCCI. Justice Rajendra Mal Lodha heads the committee, which also has retired justices Ashok Bhan and RV Raveendran.
