England off-spinner Graeme Swann is expected to play his team's World Cup opener against the Netherlands following the birth of his son.
The England squad flew to Bangladesh last week, but Swann stayed at home to attend the birth of his first child.
The 31-year-old is now set to join the team in Nagpur on Sunday, two days ahead of their match.
"This is an incredibly special day for us, and we are both absolutely delighted and very proud parents," the Telegraph quoted Swann, as saying.u00a0u00a0
