"We have learnt that some cricketers obliged others with their complimentary tickets during the World Cup.u00a0 We are planning to label each seat and will not allow anyone to occupy the seat unless the cricketer turns up. Those tickets cannot be sold," an MCA official told MiD DAY.

Vinod Kambli, Madhav Apte, K Jayantilal and Chandrakant Pandit were quoted in a national daily recently saying they were not happy with their seats for the World Cup final. Nandini Sardesai, wife of the late Dilip Sardesai was not happy too.

Media persons are not permitted to enter the stand where these players sit so one could not see the facilities or the lack of them during yesterday's Mumbai Indians vs CSK game.

However, whenu00a0u00a0 MiD DAYu00a0 bumped into former Test captain Ajit Wadekar, he seemed delighted. "There are no issues about the seating arrangement. We are seated next to the President's Box (above the dressing room) and I am happy," said Wadekar.
