In response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Nasrallah by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the Iran-backed Houthi group launched a ballistic missile aimed at Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. The missile was timed to coincide with Netanyahu’s return to Israel from New York. As the missile entered Israeli airspace, sirens alerted the IDF, which quickly intercepted the missile outside of Israel`s borders. Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi claimed that the resistance will not be broken and stated that Nasrallah’s death would not be in vain. This attack follows ongoing cross-border hostilities between Israel and Lebanon since the Gaza conflict began last October. The situation remains tense as both sides continue to engage in military actions.
