External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on September 25 raised questions about the "merits" of the US-Pakistan relationship and a relationship with Islamabad that has not served the `American Interest`. He was addressing an event organised by the Indian American Community in Washington. "It’s a relationship that has neither ended up serving Pakistan well nor serving the American interests," Jaishankar said at an event organized by the Indian American community in Washington. Dr Jaishankar made this remark after the External Affairs Minister was questioned by one of the audiences on the US decision on the F-16 package for Pakistan.
