Israeli forces respond to Hezbollah attack with drone strike in southern Lebanon

Along with the drone strike, the IDF launched artillery strikes on the source of the missile fire, in response to the aggression.

There was a suspected infiltration attempt near the border town of Rosh HaNikra, highlighting heightened tensions and security concerns along the border.

A senior IDF officer and two soldiers were killed during a firefight with terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory from southern Lebanon. This incident underscores the gravity of the situation.

An anti-tank missile was fired from Lebanon towards a military post near the community of Arab Al-Aramshe, emphasizing the threat posed by such missile attacks.

The IDF targetted the Islamic University of Gaza, a significant centre of political and military power for Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The attack aimed to disrupt Hamas's activities and weapons production.

The IDF reported significant casualties among Israeli citizens, including deaths and injuries caused by Hamas strikes. The war is ongoing, with a substantial military presence on the Gaza border to degrade Hamas's military capabilities.
