Jaishankar held diplomatic discussions with Saudi Arabia, Norway, Portugal, Poland, and Belgium during the Munich Security Conference.

Jaishankar's discussions encompassed a wide range of topics, including bilateral relations, global developments, and pressing issues like the situation in West Asia and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Jaishankar held a productive conversation with Saudi Arabian counterpart Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, focusing on connectivity, the West Asia situation, and strengthening their strategic partnership.

During a discussion with his Norwegian counterpart, Espen Barth Eide, Jaishankar stressed the significance of reforming multilateralism and supporting a more fair global order.

Jaishankar met with his Portuguese counterpart Joao Gomes Cravinho to discuss recent global developments, emphasising the importance of international cooperation in solving common concerns.

Discussions with counterparts from Poland and Belgium, Radoslaw Sikorski and Hadja Lahbib respectively, included deepening bilateral cooperation across various domains and working together to advance mutual interests.

Jaishankar acknowledged the strong support for deeper India-Germany and India-EU relations from Friedrich Merz, Leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party in Germany, and appreciated the insights and assessments shared by German Foreign and Security Policy Advisor Jens Plotner.

Jaishankar actively participated in broader discussions on contemporary politics, including a session titled "Vishwa Mitra: Bridging the Divide," hosted by the Observer Research Foundation, where he engaged with global leaders and experts to address challenges in the evolving world order.
