Nepal plane crash: A tragedy that left the world in shock

At least 49 people were killed and 23 injured when a passenger plane of the US-Bangla Airlines crash-landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Nepal on Monday. Here are some photos from the site

Officials said that the passenger plane had 71 people on board the US-Bangla Airlines plane from Dhaka when it crashed just east of the runway of Nepal's Tribhuvan international airport and skidded into a nearby football field. The passenger plane from Bangladesh crashed and burst into flames as it landed in Kathmandu, killing dozens of people, officials said. Pic/AFP
