A lesbian couple has claimed that their honeymoon became their worst nightmare after they were discriminated against by a holiday firm
Gemma Harman, 24, and Tamsin Harper, 36, went to the Dominican Republic through travel giant Thomson after their civil partnership earlier this year.
But they claim the firm didn't acknowledge their holiday as a honeymoon and said they did not receive special treatment offered to other newlyweds.
Harman, of Brighouse, West Yorks, said they were treated in a "homophobic manner" while other guests were treated "like VIPs".

"It was possibly the worst two weeks I've spent ever," the Sun quoted Harman as saying.
However, a spokesman for Thomson denied they had been victims of discrimination.
"The holiday didn't live up to their expectations and it didn't live up to our standards. But it could have happened to anyone," he insisted.
The couple have been offered compensation.
