Bruna Carolina Peres from Brazil chose to live like Barbie, because of her love for pink
Brazil resident Bruna Carolina Peres claims that she has been fascinated with pink for as long as she can remember. In fact, she started showcasing her love for pink by dressing only in that colour. At one point, people started calling her Barbie, and she just rolled with it.
Today, she is one of the most popular social media influencers in all of Brazil. Her content is mostly related to her real-life Barbie status, where she is surrounded by all things pink. Around 97 per cent of the items in her wardrobe are pink, with only a few black and white pieces. Even her furniture, appliances, cutlery, and Barbie-themed villa reflect her fascination for the doll.
Peres, who is popularly known as Brazilian Barbie, reportedly spent around 5,00,000 reals (R66,71,183) building her seaside home in a small town in Paraná, which is inspired by a Barbie toy set. The only room in the house that isn't pink is a blue bedroom meant for a real-life Ken. "I started sharing photos and videos of my style, of my everyday life in 2013, and today it has become my profession," Bruna Barbie said.

Two women caught trying to get second doses of the COVID shot by disguising themselves as old ladies
The Florida Department of Health in Orange County recently reported the bizarre case of two women, aged 34 and 44, who "dressed up as grannies," in order to appear over 65, and thus be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. The women were wearing bonnets, gloves, and glasses in an attempt to make themselves look older. Staff at the centre noticed that they "looked funny", and the police were called. When staff checked the two women's paperwork, it was discovered that even though their names matched their registration, their ages did not. Interestingly, the two women had valid cards from their first vaccine shots.

Sporting a 35kg fur coat
Photos of a "wild sheep" named Baarack, found in a forest in Australia went viral this week, because of the unusual coat that the animal sported. At the time of his rescue, Baarack looked almost nothing like a sheep, his slender frame hidden under a mass of wool and dirt that weighed 35 kg. Shearing a sheep usually takes a few minutes, but in Baarack's case, the process lasted over an hour.
