An earthquake of magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale struck Afghanistan on Saturday, the National Center for Seismology (NSC) informed on Saturday. According to the NCS, the earthquake struck at a depth of 120 km at 6.16 am (IST).
"EQ of M: 4.5, On: 11/05/2024 06:16:30 IST, Lat: 36.39 N, Long: 71.14 E, Depth: 120 Km, Location: Afghanistan," read a post on the official X handle on NCS.
