A transsexual dancer in China has criticised the authorities for not allowing her to be a judge on a TV show due to her sex change.
Jin Xing, 43, wrote on her Weibo microblog that she would not appear in "We Are The Music" show as one of the judges as the administration had told the show producer to keep her out, reported Shanghai Daily.
The microblog entry triggered an online debate.
Jin said the show's director had seen the official missive that indicated Jin's transsexuality was the reason for her ouster.
