Unlike Blaine, Shaw has basic provisions and food but he has no idea where he is, as he was dropped off blindfolded after being driven around for 10 hours. So far the only clue to the DJ's location is that the spot played a big part in his life. His every waking hour is being streamed live, so viewers may be able to pick up clues to his location from his online ramblings.
Graham Stuart, broadcasting consultant for the online stunt, said "The craziest thing of all is that the prize money is Tim's own cash."
Shaw will have 12 hours of light each day and his daily highlight will be the delivery of basic food and water through a tiny hatch.
Shaw, who works for a Birmingham radio station said, "I came up with an idea au00a0 long time ago."
