California: A dog was tested positive for methamphetamine and heroin when it was found during an arrest in Tustin, California.
After officers served an arrest for Joshua West, 40, on March 22 in Orange County, the dog named Bubba was found in a hotel room, Tustin Police Lieutenant Robert Wright told CNN.

West, the dog's owner, was on parole for drug violations. Illegal drugs and used needles were also reportedly found in the hotel room.

Bubba had to undergo a urine test for the police to be sure and the results came back positive for meth and heroin.
The terrier mix puppy was eventually placed under the care of Orange County Animal Care (OCAC) after being picked up during the arrest.

Bubba will be put up for adoption after he recovers.
